Next to self-esteem we would all like to feel an inner sense of gaining self-confidence. Many of us mix the attributes of self-esteem and confidence up, they are both uniquely different and they actually compliment each-other really well.

However this course is all about raising your confidence levels…

Now, there are generally three types of confidence:

- Performance confidence

- Self-confidence

- And Confidence in the company of others

Performance confidence is described as being really good at doing a particular activity or skill. This particular form of confidence usually comes from doing something over and over again so many times that it becomes easily to execute.

Depending on our tanisity levels, difficult tasks can be very easy to learn, where as others may find certain tasks requires more of an effort.

For example: For different people learning to fix a bike could be easier than learning to do a back hand-spring. Performance confidence comes with continuous practice, the more you practice doing something the more you will find inner self-assurance beginning to grow as tasks become more easy to do.

Now, Self-confidence and inner self-assurance is described as what you believe you are capable of, it is that inner sense of self confidence based on how high you believe your level of being able to feel confident within yourself can rise.

For example: If you feel confident about your skills and capability to learn and grow you are more likely to feel more secure within yourself and move through the world with more ease based on the situations you find yourself. and that will continue to grow as you do!

Self-confidence complements performance confidence really well. The more reasons and evidence you have for why you should feel more confident within yourself the more confident you are likely to feel as you do new things! In a sense its a one-way street, there is no opposing traffic!

And last but not least, Confidence in Company! Which is an extension of self-confidence and performance confidence, ultimately creates LIFE CONFIDENCE.

When you can learn to feel confident about your skills and communicate with others effectively, you gain a sense of free-er self-expression that is not thwarted by negative attacks or external circumstances. Your contribution to the world is ‘just’ and is energized by the display of your personality!

Events and situations are sometimes un-controllable but you can always rely on yourself to feel confident and express to others that a strong energy is always around to support them.

These 3 types of confidence(s) I have laid out for you display a great foundation you can start working on.

If you want to gain higher levels of confidence within yourself, trying something new performance-wise will allow you to do so, especially if its in an area of life you really want. Feeling more confident around others will help you to become more confident performance-wise, and feeling more confident performance-wise and social-wise will allow you to feel more confident about yourself. And thus the spiral goes round and around like a formula 1 racing wheel.

To build more overall confidence you should seek out to practice in each of these areas to build more confidence, notice your growing progress and start in which ever area feel right for you!

So your task for today is to write down two things you would like to improve your confidence in, in each of the three areas we have been discussing.

Welcome to the self esteem exercises page. Let me share with you some of the ways how you can manifest the new thoughts, feelings and behaviors that build higher self esteem for the near future.

Here is the first understanding…

Whatever you focus on, you feel because your mind cannot tell the difference between what you imagine as being real and what you actually experience. In other words what you consistently focus on and imagine in your mind eventually becomes your future self-esteem.

What you focus on, and imagine yourself doing on a consistent basis determines how you’re going to be feeling about yourself on a daily basis.

…the second understanding…

Thus if you imagine and mentally rehearse yourself in positive scenarios feeling good about yourself and reacting in the ways that you want in those troubled situations that used to bother you: your mind will naturally take these mental impressions as being part of your new higher self esteem reality!

The mind learns and adapts to whatever you habitually focus on, on a consistent basis!

The Key Here Is To Design In A New Habit Of Higher Self-Esteem and More… Awareness By Rehearsing it!!

So now that you are aware of this understanding let me introduce to you a model that will enable you to build more Higher self esteem…

Self appreciation process
(This exercise will enable you to raise self appreciation levels with just about anything you want!)

First: Think of a positive thought or idea about yourself. (Even if it isn’t true just yet…)

Second: Notice the positive feelings that come from thinking about these positive ideas about yourself (because positive thoughts equal positive feelings)

Third. Stop for a moment to appreciate yourself for the fact that you have just made yourself feel good about what you just thought about: Therefore you can feel good about the things you want! (Can’t you…?) Just by doing steps one, two and three.

And…Fourth. Be grateful that you can manifest “feeling good about yourself” – and build ON a never ending process of self-worth and higher-self appreciation.

(Actively go over these steps until it sinks in! And do the process over and over again until it feels more comfortable!!)

This is a 4 step key to manifesting your self-esteem in any area of life you choose, not to mention total life success! Why? Because rehearsing the things you want in life in ways that allow you to feel like you already own them within, will create a chain reaction of inner-fulfillment – a stronger inner sense of self-worth and passion – multiplying and growing throughout your everyday living because you are appreciating yourself to feel better about the future.

Very soon you will begin to react confidently with positive ideas – which will bring positive new experiences your way; and this will reinforce more positive reasons for why you should feel good about yourself even more… which in turn increases your higher self-esteem.

Can you remember when somebody gave you a compliment? Such as “You’re a great person” – Well first you considered it, you felt good about the idea, you appreciated the fact that someone complemented you, then you were grateful about yourself and the whole experience of feeling like the great person you are – and will be… Win Win Win!
Can you see a pattern forming here?

Get Used To This Pattern!

- What are three positive aspects that you can think about yourself? and want to feel about yourself?

- As you think about already having these qualities in your life, how does it feel inside of your body? (And notice where you feel it)

- Now thank yourself for the fact that you have the ability to make yourself feel good just by doing these first three steps

- And now be grateful for the entire process you have done that allows you to feel good about yourself now and for the near future…

Get used to rehearsing this model throughout your daily life about the things you really want to manifest… practice makes perfect and you’ll begin to find yourself doing this exercise more and more easily and eventually AUTOMATICALLY, you will also find your personal power and self-esteem re-turning back into your awareness: Bringing you the ability to feel good about yourself dramatically in just a few short days – weeks!

YOU CAN make yourself FEEL GOOD!!!

Do this exercises as often as you will yourself to do so…

P.S. These principles and technique can be used in any area of your life that you truly want to manifest in! You will be kidding yourself to think that you cant..! You can use this exercise for literally ANYTHING positive you want to become used to feeling good about on a daily basis!

Dear friend,

I want to give you some tools that will propel you forward towards reaching your confidence goals in a way that is always expanding. After all each and every one of us experience certain setbacks when it comes to manifesting what we really want in life. Many of us have big goals and dreams for the future but we tend to put them up on a shelf and forget about them, perhaps we tried to take action but slowly gave up because we assumed we wasn’t going anywhere.

What are the reasons for why you haven’t set out to go after what you really want??

Why haven’t you taken consistent action to create what you rightfully deserve in your life???

For most of us its the “fear of Failure!!”

Fear of not being able to achieve our goals, the fear of rejection, the fear of pain – all of these things and the overall risk factor of it all keeps us stuck. But when you really stop to think about it, what is the real risk here? Is it the risk of someone saying “No” or the ultimate risk of NEVER BEING ABLE TO CREATE THE TYPE OF LIFE YOU TRULY DESERVE!

After all isn’t this the biggest risk? The risk of losing out!?

You see, if you tried to achieve something a couple of times and failed at it – it doesn’t mean you should slowly leave and not do it anymore because of a momentary set-back! The key here is to keep trying and keep changing until you succeed!! If you fail once you must TRY SOMETHING ELSE and KEEP GOING!!

As soon as Thomas Edison first created the light bulb he was interviewed and the interviewer asked him a question, he asked him “How does it feel to have failed 10,000 times?” Edison replied “I didn’t fail 10,000 times, I only found 10,000 ways that didn’t work and so i knew it was only a matter of time before I figured out what WILL WORK!”

This is the exact same approach you should take when it comes to building life success and confidence, after all this is what confidence is! It represents the tanasity to keep learning and keep expanding until you succeed. The place you are at now in your life and where you desire to be IS A CHANGE! And its learning and changing towards our dreams that allows us to grow more as people! By constantly coming up with new ideas and skills on your journey towards obtaining self-confidence – your behaviours, feelings and reactions change in regards to how you view yourself as a person and how you view your overall life!

These changes are very subtle and i can say to you that as you continue to grow and imagine what your life will be like 10years from now – you’ll look back and go “WOW I have grown so much!! I cant even believe that i had so many limitations to begin with!!!”

The more you take action towards creating your dreams the more that “decision action taking muscle” will be effortless to execute time and time again, in those areas of life that matter to you most and this will build even more self-esteem.

So why are you still sitting here reading this for?

TAKE ACTION TOWARDS YOUR GOALS DAILY UNTIL YOU SUCCEED!!

Confidence Plan

(Make a confidence plan for each of the three different areas including: Performance Confidence, Self-confidence and Social Confidence. And write down three answers for each separate question below)

1. what do you really want to achieve in your life?

2. What will achieving it give you back? And how will it make you feel once you have it?

3. When do you want to achieve it? (Set a realistic time limit and live up to it!)

4. Imagine what it will be like if you started taking action how would you be feeling significantly stronger two weeks from now?

5. Imagine yourself taking action everyday down your future time-line to the point where you reach your goals achievements! Whats it going to be like when you create it?

The great feelings you will experience once you have achieved your goals is what you are working your way towards. In other words you must focus on the RESULTS and to never let yourself, or anybody else or anything that happens stop you from making these dreams REAL!

You will achieve little results during your pursuits and these little results create the ultimate result, so be grateful for them and seek joy in these little moments of achievement!

There is no such thing as failure and you can NEVER fail at anything! Why? Because failure means learning and learning means growth; growth equals successful results and successful results create drive and passion to succeed; And Drive and passion starts this process all over again in the pursuite of another endeavour you want to achieve in.

Your personal power, as you can see, is full of unlimited possibility and potential, and from now on you must begin to utilise it on a daily basis, just as Thomas Edison did everyday!

Take action, be flexible in your approach, learn and ultimately succeed in your everyday life!
